Melo's collections are entirely constructed with engineered core + top layer, much like most responsible and reputable flooring brands worldwide. There are strong compelling reasons for it: responsible use of European Oak and plank performance. Oak trees take around 100 years until maturity for harvest, therefore, Oak is only used in the top layer of our engineered planks, not in the core or bottom where it will never be seen. The multi-layer plywood core is made with fast growing wood species, such as the Eucalyptus family, assuring a sustainable cycle and harnessing the superior stability and moisture resistance features. When selecting top layer thickness, you are able to establish the number of times the floor can be mechanically sanded and refinished, as well as budget.

Prime Grade offers 99% natural features free look, providing a clean and minimalist outcome.

Natural Grade features the beauty of natural elements from the Oak Tree, adding warmth and character to your projects.
